近日，如皋法院审结一起因安全管理不到位 导致员工触电身亡的案件。公司安全主管姚某因犯 重大劳动安全事故罪，被判处有期徒刑九个月 ，缓刑一年 。

事故经过：

2021年5月10日，某公司加料工陈某在开中频电炉作业过程中冷却水管掉落，水流打湿中频电炉绝缘耐火层，形成短路。

陈某在停炉维修冷却水管后， 未更换潮湿的衣物和劳保鞋，未戴安全帽，未对中频电炉绝缘情况进一步检查 ，即为电炉送电继续作业，导致整个炉体外壳带电。

陈某步行至花纹钢板操作平台，触电倒地后经抢救无效死亡。经鉴定，陈某符合电击死亡。

案件处罚：

公司安全主管姚某因犯重大劳动安全事故罪，被判处 有期徒刑九个月 ，缓刑一年。
