站每半月、大队每月、支队以上单位每季度至少组织1次队容风纪检查，及时纠正问题并讲评。季度换装时，应组织队容风纪检查。

中队（站）通常每日点名，休息日和节假日必须点名。点名由1名单位首长实施，每次点名不得超过15分钟。

大队、站每年应当进行1至2次点验，初任消防救援人员入营、消防员退出队伍时，应当对个人物品进行点验。其他需要点验的时机由支队以上单位根据情况确定。

站应当组织进行查铺查哨，每夜不少于2次；其中1次必须在熄灯后2小时至次日起床前1小时之间进行，通常由干部、站长助理或者担负值班任务的消防员实施。野外驻训、恶劣天气以及其他必要情况时，应当增加查铺查哨次数。

内务设置应当利于战备，方便工作、学习、生活、因地制宜，整齐划一，符合卫生和安全要求，杜绝形式主义。
