SHPGX导读： 12月16日，中海壳牌石油化工有限公司与中国海油电力投资有限公司签署首笔100万千瓦时绿色电力交易合同，标志着中海壳牌在绿色低碳的征程上迈出了新的一步。本次合同签署是惠州首笔绿电交易，约占2021年12月当月广东市场绿电总成交量的17%。

2021年12月16日下午，中海壳牌石油化工有限公司（"中海壳牌”）与中国海油电力投资有限公司（“海油电投”）签署首笔100万千瓦时绿色电力（“绿电”）交易合同，标志着中海壳牌在绿色低碳的征程上迈出了新的一步。本次合同签署是惠州首笔绿电交易，约占2021年12月当月广东市场绿电总成交量的17%。

调整能源结构、使用清洁绿色能源成为企业主动承担社会责任、节能降碳的重要途径。随着国家发改委和能源局对《绿色电力交易试点工作方案》的批准，在新型电力市场机制下，中海壳牌积极寻找可提供足够资源的电力公司，以实现长期购买和使用可再生能源的目标，践行绿色低碳发展。除此次100万千瓦时绿电的交易，中海壳牌与海油电投双方就2022年度1200万千瓦时绿电交易达成意向，与传统电力相比，年度可减少碳足迹7655吨。

作为国家首批绿色工厂，中海壳牌积极建立碳中和路线图，从提升能效、选择低碳能源、工艺优化节能、碳捕集与利用等多个维度降碳，积极迎接“碳达峰、碳中和”的挑战，充分发挥绿色工厂的表率作用，努力成为化工行业“双碳”行动践行者，助力大亚湾石化区实现绿色低碳循环发展、为中国实现碳减排目标和中国经济的高质量绿色发展贡献力量。

CSPC Signed the First Green Power Trade Contract

On the afternoon of December 16th, 2021, CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company Limited ("CSPC") and CNOOC Power Investment Co., Ltd. signed the first trade contract of 1 million KWH green power, marking a new step forward in the journey of green and low-carbon development of CSPC. This is the first green power trade in Huizhou, accounting for approximately 17% of the total green power turnover in the Guangdong market in December 2021.

Adjusting the energy structure and adopting clean and green energy have become an important way for enterprises to take the initiative to shoulder social responsibilities and save energy and reduce carbon. With the approval of "Green Power Trading Pilot Program" by National Development and Reform Commission and National Energy Bureau, under the new power trading mechanism, CSPC proactively seeks power companies that can provide sufficient resources to achieve the long-term goal of purchasing and using renewable energy, and low-carbon development. In addition to this 1 million KWH green power, CSPC and CNOOC Power Investment Co., Ltd. have reached an intention to deal 12 million KWH of green power in 2022, which can reduce the carbon footprint of 7655 tons, compared with traditional power.

As the first batch of national green factories, CSPC is proactively establishing a carbon neutral roadmap to reduce carbon emission in various dimensions, including energy efficiency, clean energy selection, energy saving, and carbon capture and usage, in order to meet the challenges of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, giving full play to its exemplary role as a green plant demonstration enterprise, striving to be the champion for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in the chemical industry, facilitating the green and low carbon cycle development of Daya Bay Petrochemical Zone, and making contribution to China’s carbon emission reduction targets and economy high-quality green development.
