The Chen Lab (https://kaifuchenlab.github.io) at the Boston Children’s Hospital in Harvard Medical School is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to focus on single-cell and spatial multi-omics bioinformatics research. Candidates with a quantitative background in disciplines such as mathematics, statistics, physics, or computer sciences, as well as those with experience in genomic data analysis, are highly encouraged to apply.
Research Opportunities:
• Develop innovative computational tools, statistical methods, artificial intelligence techniques, machine learning algorithms, and network models.
• Investigate the regulatory mechanisms of gene expression, including intercellular communication, transcription factors, histone modifications, RNA modifications, 3D chromatin folding, and cell-cell interactions, to gain insights into development and diseases.
• Analyze high-resolution single-cell RNA-seq, ChIP-seq / Cut&Tag, ATAC-seq, MERFISH, RNA modification profiles, and Hi-C data to unravel spatial and temporal dimensions of biological processes.
• Collaborate with clinicians and biologists to enhance research productivity, foster innovation, and facilitate translational applications.

Salary Range:
