An Analysis of Privacy between Chinese and Western Culture

Personal rights are one mechanism that regulates and controls one's interaction with others.As a cultural phenomenon,the con cept of personal rights has been the concern of Chinese and foreign scholars.Issues of personal rights have become a growing concern in current cultural diversity and cultural globalization process.Personal rights,view differences arisen due to cultural differences,is a factor causing communication barriers in cross-cultural communication.Differences in privacy exception are prominently highlighted in the exchange of Chinese and western culture.So it is of extraordinary significance for us to analyze the differences in the conception of personal rights between Chinese and western countries,to gain a better understanding of Chinese and Western cultural differences as well as the cultural exchange between them.
