The Influence of Moral and Material Values on Marriage in Pride and Prejudice

The thesis aims to focus on analysis of the material and moral values on marriage in Jane Austen's time on the basis of the several passages adapted from the novel. It endeavors to illustrate such a principle that real happiness is better in a balanced position of the moral and material values.
