The Analysis of the Poem Arms and the Boy

Using the method of stylistics to analyze Wilfred Owen's “Arms and the boys” stylistic features of the poem.There are three levels of detailed analysis of the foregrounding feature of the poem:voice,rhythm and rhetoric.The theme of the poem is “the tragedy of war”,demonstrating by onomatopoeia,alliteration,and other rhymes in the form element combination and the use of personification.
