New synthesis of bis(disiloxanyl)-m-carboranes

Four bts(disiloxanyl)-m-carboranes ((RSiMe2OSiMe2)2-m-C2B1oH10,R =H,vinyl,ethynyl,allyl) were synthesized from the reaction of bis(hydroxydimethylsilyl)-m-carborane and disilazanes,and characterized by infrared spectra (IR),nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and mass spectrometry (MS).
