Research Progress of Palladium Catalysts for Methane Combustion

Recent research progress and development of the palladium catalysts for methane combustion are described in this study.The influence of active species,precursor,solvent,preparation methodologies,support and dopant on the catalytic activity and thermal stability of the palladium catalysts was discussed.Results of deactivation and poisoning of palladium catalysts were analyzed.Furthermore,possible kinetic models and reaction mechanism were indicated for Pd catalysts.
