通报批评!该杰出学者伪造51个图片,被撤回7篇文章

研究诚信办公室(ORI)发现 William Armstead 在美国公共卫生服务(PHS)基金支持的研究中从事研究不端行为。
具体来说,ORI发现 William Armstead 在5篇已发表的论文,1篇未发表的手稿,1篇综述文章,3张海报,3份PHS基金的拨款申请以及4份NIH拨款进展报告中伪造和/或捏造51个数据、方法、数据、结果和结论 ,报告了各种血管活性药物对不同年龄和性别仔猪创伤性脑损伤后神经系统反应的影响,进而从事学术不端行为。
William Armstead 同意从2023年6月19日开 在7年内禁止获得美国联邦资金资助,以及担任包括NIH同行评审委员会在内的公共卫生服务部门的顾问。
截至到2023年7月5日, William Armstead被撤回了7篇文章, 主要原因是研究结果、陈述和结论出现了实质性问题。

Respondent will exclude himself voluntarily for a period of seven (7) years beginning on June 19, 2023 (the “Exclusion Period”), from any contracting or subcontracting with any agency of the United States Government and from eligibility for or involvement in nonprocurement or procurement transactions referred to as “covered transactions” in 2 C.F.R.
