公开招募: ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces及其系列期刊招募新任主编

ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces  创刊主编 Dr. Kirk Schanze 将会在2023年底结束他的15年任期。在他的带领下， ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces  自2009年创刊以来一直致力于为全球的科学研究团体分享、发表、传播前沿的应用材料与界面领域的研究发现，并实现了发文数量与发文质量的齐头并进。为了更好地服务应用材料研究群体， AMI  陆续推出7本姐妹刊，包括  ACS Applied Nano Materials, ACS Applied Energy Materials, ACS Applied Bio Materials, ACS Applied Polymer Materials, ACS Applied Electronic Materials, ACS Applied Engineering Materials  以及 ACS Applied Optical Materials 。

目前， ACS出版部向全球公开招募新任主编 ，“我们邀请广大科研人员为这个职位提名（包括自我提名），并衷心期待新任主编与旗下姐妹刊的执行主编齐心协力，为这八本应用材料期刊共筑新篇章”。

Qualitiesof Effective Editors：

ACS Editors-in-Chief are active, accomplished researchers within the international scientific community served by the journal. They have the scientific insight to know where the field is going and to assemble and lead a team of Associate and Deputy Editors representing the scientific and demographic distribution of the field.

The Editor-in-Chief of the ACS Applied Materials suite of journals is responsible for appointing Deputy Editors to the journals and working closely with them to define the journal scopes and to raise awareness and impact of each publication. The Editor-in-Chief is ultimately responsible for the review, selection, and publication of manuscripts submitted to  ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.  Additionally, the Editor-in-Chief, along with the Deputy Editors, is responsible for identifying top researchers across all disciplines of materials science and working proactively to bring timely contributions from those researchers into the journal.

The Editor-in-Chief must hold themselves to the highest ethical standards in research and publication. They should use their time efficiently to ensure that manuscripts are processed in a timely manner while receiving a thorough and fair evaluation.
