Based on the structural features and working principles of the hydraulic controlbutterfly valve of circulating water system for a new power plant, and combined with trial operation process ofhydraulic control butterly valve and the cumulative experiences of commissioning, the key commissioning technicalessentials of the butterfly valve are summarized and the reasonsfor the common faults generated of the valve areanalyzed during start-up commissioning and operation process in this paper.
