A Stylistic Analysis of Philip Larkin’s Toads

This paper analyzes the stylistic features of the poem “Toads” written by Philip Larkin. This paper focuses on the stylistic features: lexis, grammar, rhetorical devices, phonetics and so on. At the end of this paper, some interpretations wil be made to il ustrate the importance of stylistics to poetry appreciation.
