Analysis of Krashen's Affective Filter Hypothesis

Affective filter hypothesis is one of Krashen's five hypotheses on Second Language Acquisition (SLA),and it states that a number of affective variables play a very important role in Second Language Acquisition.Based on the introduction of affective filter hypothesis,this paper will analyze the significance and shortcomings of this hypothesis.
