本标准规定硫化及热塑性橡胶之拉伸应力－应变性质之测定方法。 可测定之性质包括抗拉强度、断裂伸长率、定伸长率应力(stress at a given elongation)、定应力伸长率(elongation at a given stress)、降伏应力(stress at yield)及降伏伸长率(elongation at yield)。降伏应力及应变之量测仅适用于部分热塑性橡胶及某些胶料。
