添加剂对TiO2电流变液性能的影响
研究不同添加剂对电流变液流变性能的影响,以提高ER液体的电流变活性.对含有不同添加剂的电流变液体进行了电流变性能测试.结果表明:几种添加剂对改善电流变液体的性能均有很好的促进作用.在4kV/mm的电场强度下,含不同添加剂的电流变液体的剪切应力分别提高12%、26%和33%.且ER液体的抗沉淀稳定性明显提高.说明适宜、适量的添加剂能有效地提高ER液体的性能....

Preconcentration of Ultra-trace Cadmium with Nanometer-size TiO2 Colloid and Determination by GFAAS
A novel method of ultra-trace Cd(Ⅱ) preconcentration with nanometer-size TiO2 colloid and determination by graphite furnace atomic adsorption spectrometry(GFAAS) with slurry sampling was first advanced in this paper. The adsorption efficiency of nanometer-size TiO2 colloid for ultra-trace Cd(Ⅱ) could reach above 96% in a short time when the pH value was between 5 and 6. Other problems were also studied, such as adsorption capacity, nanometer-size TiO2 colloid dosage, effect of coexistent ions. The detection limit(3σ) and the relative standard deviation (R.S.D) of this method were 4.46.10-3 μg/L and 1.30%(n=7), respectively. The method was successfully applied to the analysis of environmental samples with recoveries between 93.8%and 96.4%....

Nanohybrid TiO2/carbon black sensor for NO2 gas
A nanohybrid sensor of nanosized TiO2-coated carbon black particles, prepared by sol-gel technology for the detection of NO2 gas, has been developed. The response of the electric resistance of the hybrid sensor to NO2 concentration is investigated, showing that the sensitivity of the hybrid sensor is raised as certain ratio of the TiO2 content in the sensor. Easy and cheap to fabricate, the hybrid TiO2/carbon black promises to be a practical sensor for detecting NO2 gas....

PHOTOCATALYTIC DEGRADATION OF WASTE WATER ON. THIN FILMS OF TiO2
The degradation of organic phosphorous pesticide waste water using thin films of TiO2, which was prepared in an atmospheric vertical chemical vapor deposition system, was studied. The results show that the wafer material for coating TiO2, the photocatalytic time, the TiO2 crystal phase, the pH value and the concentration of pesticides in waste water influence the degradation rate. The removal of arsenic from (ground)-water by adsorbent loaded in polymeric microspheres
Arsenic is a natural tasteless and odourless element,existing in the earth' s crust at average levels of between two and five thousands micrograms per liter (parts per million).Arsenic is highly toxic to humans,who are exposed to it primarily from air,food and water.The occurrence of arsenic in groundwater is due to geological composition of soil.High concentrations of arsenic in water are the result of dissolution or desorption of ferric oxides and the oxidation of mineral arsenopyrites.Arsenic in drinking water has an important impact on the human health,especially in the less developed countries.Different methods exist to remove arsenic from aquatic media,and one of them is by adsorption.In this work,the adsorption of both As(Ⅲ) and As(V) by means of novel microspheres has been investigated.In particular,TiO2 has been embedded into polymeric microspheres PES (PolyEtherSulphone) and PEEK-WC (PolyEtherEther-Ketone).The main advantages of this encapsulation adsorption material are:no loss of adsorbents into the water stream,easy to be used and scaledup....
