西南二氧化碳地球均衡枢纽项目（西南枢纽）是由西澳大利亚矿业和石油部（DMP）领导的政府-工业伙伴关系。西南枢纽行业合作伙伴包括Verve、Perdaman Chemicals and Philisers、Premier Coal Limited、Griffin Energy Developments和Alcoa Australia。西南枢纽合作伙伴已制定了一项非法人合资企业（UJV）协议，以推进该项目。西南中心是西澳大利亚第一个陆上碳捕获和储存（CCS）试验项目。CCS是应对气候变化解决方案组合的一部分，将有助于澳大利亚政府实现到2050年将二氧化碳排放量减少80%（2000年水平）的目标。
The South West CO2 Geosequestration Hub project (the South West Hub) is a government industry partnership led by the Western Australian Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP). The South West Hub industry partners are Verve, Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers, Premier Coal Limited, Griffin Energy Developments and Alcoa Australia. An Unincorporated Joint Venture (UJV) Agreement has been developed by the South West Hub partners to progress the project. The South West Hub is Western Australia’s first onshore Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) trial project. CCS is part of a portfolio of solutions to combat climate change and will contribute towards the Australian Government’s goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 80 per cent (of year 2000 levels) by 2050.
