该部的结果框架文件已提交内阁秘书处，其主要目标是实现年度行动计划指标，以实现国际劳工组织的煤炭生产和煤炭采出量，美国国家劳工委员会的褐煤生产和发电，以确保向受监管的电力供应充足的煤炭 公用事业，自留煤田的开发和生产，着力于资源勘探，洗煤能力的提高，矿山安全状况的改善，科费尔菲尔德地区铁路和公路基础设施的发展以及其他政策问题
The Results Framework Document of the Ministry is submitted to the Cabinet Secretariat with main objectives of achievement of annual action plan targets for Coal production and Coal offtake by CIL, lignite production and power generation by NLC, to ensure adequate supply of Coal to the regulated power utilities, development and production from captive Coal blocks, thrust on exploration of resources, increase in Coal washing capacities, improvement in safety conditions in mines, development of rail and road infrastructure in Coalfeld areas and other policy issues
