国际可持续发展研究所(IISD)是世界领先的研究和创新中心之一。研究所为日益增长的将环境和社会优先事项与经济发展结合起来的挑战和机会提供了切实可行的解决办法。我们报道国际谈判并分享通过合作项目获得的知识，从而形成更严格的研究、更强大的全球网络，以及研究人员、公民、企业和决策者之间更好的参与。IISD在加拿大注册为慈善组织，在美国注册为501(c)(3)。IISD从加拿大政府、国际发展研究中心(IDRC)和马尼托巴省获得核心业务支助。研究所从加拿大内外的许多政府、联合国机构、基金会、私营部门和个人接受项目资金。
The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) is one of the world’s leading centres of research and innovation. The Institute provides practical solutions to the growing challenges and opportunities of integrating environmental and social priorities with economic development. We report on international negotiations and share knowledge gained through collaborative projects, resulting in more rigorous research, stronger global networks, and better engagement among researchers, citizens, businesses and policy-makers. IISD is registered as a charitable organization in Canada and has 501(c)(3) status in the United States. IISD receives core operating support from the Government of Canada, provided through the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and from the Province of Manitoba. The Institute receives project funding from numerous governments inside and outside Canada, United Nations agencies, foundations, the private sector and individuals.
