全球钢铁产量依赖煤炭——约占全球钢铁总产量的68%直接依靠煤炭的投入。焦煤、粉煤喷煤约760Mt（PCI）煤炭用于全球钢铁生产，约占硬煤总量的12%全球消费。

Global steel production is dependent on coal – around 68% of total global steel production  relies directly on inputs of coal. Around 760Mt of coking coal and Pulverised Coal Injection  (PCI) coals are used in global steel production, which is around 12% of total hard coal  consumption worldwide.
