在罗马尼亚,2009年能源部门占全国温室气体排放总量的66.44%(ANPM,2011年)。二氧化碳(CO2)是国家总温室气体排放量最大的贡献者。为此,罗马尼亚需要实施新技术,以减少能源部门的二氧化碳排放。实现这一目标的两个关键途径是:新的绿色能源生产能力,即可再生能源;以及减少现有发电厂的排放,即碳捕获和储存(CCS)。

In Romania, the energy sector accounted for 66.44% of total national greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in 2009 (ANPM, 2011). Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the largest contributor to the total national GHG emissions. For this reason, Romania needs to implement new technologies to reduce CO2 emissions in the energy sector. Two key approaches to achieving this are: • new green energy production capacities, i.e. renewable energy; and • reducing the emissions of existing power plants, i.e. Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)
