In 2013, gei's hard work has yielded fruitful results. In the field of energy and climate change, we continue to pay great attention to cooperation and dialogue between China and the United States, and actively promote exchanges and cooperation between the two countries. We have successfully implemented the list, microeconomic model and macroeconomic model of "state Climate Action Plan" of the United States into the "low carbon policy quantitative tool" of Chinese version together with the U.S. climate strategy center and the Institute of policy of Chinese Academy of Sciences, which enables us to have operable calculation tables of energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions at the provincial and municipal levels, and also enables low carbon policies to In order to carry out the quantitative analysis of cost-economic benefits, and to evaluate the macroeconomic impact of the results of the quantitative analysis of economic benefits on the province and city. All the results can be presented to the decision-maker directly in the form of chart as the reference and basis for decision-making. In the process of the US version being implemented into the Chinese version, we have been supported by the climate Department of the national development and Reform Commission and recognized by the National Center for strategic research and international cooperation on climate change in terms of technology. On this basis, our project team has begun to design a training software for the capacity-building of civil servants, hoping to promote and expand the application of the tool in a more easy-to-use and understanding way. In the field of biodiversity protection, we continue to expand the mechanism of "community co management agreement protection", which has been in practice for many years, in the form of written materials, meetings, exchanges and articles, and through different channels and different levels, including central leadership, government departments, local management departments and social and civil institutions, to expand the impact. We have also expanded our practical activities from forestry to grassland, and successfully copied this mechanism in Ningxia Yunwu Mountain National Grassland Reserve. On this basis, we are developing mobile phone patrol and computer information management system in the reserve, and boldly put forward the idea of ecological system reform from the research and practice of biodiversity protection for many years. In the field of investment, trade and environment, we actively carried out overseas policy research and successfully promoted the Ministry of environmental protection and the Ministry of Commerce to jointly issue China's environmental protection guide for foreign investment and cooperation. A training course on "environmental impact assessment" was held in Myanmar in cooperation with Vermont Law School of the United States, and more than 40 Burmese officials were trained. In September 2013, we successfully held two workshops in Yangon, Myanmar and Hangzhou, China on "rural renewable energy technology and carbon finance" and "sustainable rice development and rice business chain model discussion", aiming at the Myanmar government, NGOs, enterprises, farmers, etc., to "go out" for Chinese NGOs, change China's overseas investment mode, and improve China's responsible power shape In the future, China has accumulated experience and laid a solid foundation in supporting NGOs to "go global". In 2013, we also completed the book "going global" - the current situation of China's foreign investment, trade and aid and challenges of environmental governance ", reviewed the situation and problems of China's" going global "strategy since its implementation for 10 years, and put forward our opinions and suggestions on this basis, which was well received by colleagues at home and abroad who are concerned about China's foreign investment. 2014 is coming quietly, and greater challenges and opportunities are waiting for us.
