The World Energy Perspectives on E-Mobility is part of a series of reports based on expert insights from our network of energy leaders and practitioners. This series provides a bottom-up assessment of the key issues and technologies in the transport sector. There are a variety of clean vehicle technologies and fuels under development and in use, but electric vehicles represent one of the most promising technologies for reducing oil use and cutting emissions. E-Mobility holds significant potential for increasing energy security, reducing carbon emissions and improving local air quality.
