In the past 2007, gei has paid more attention to Environmental Policy Governance. First, in the field of climate change, we launched the project of dialogue on climate change, which aims to promote cooperation between governments and enterprises in the field of climate change by building a dialogue platform. Second, on the basis of promoting relevant national government departments to issue guidelines for overseas sustainable forest cultivation of Chinese enterprises, the project of environmental behavior policy package for overseas Chinese enterprises was implemented. With the rapid development of China's economy, more and more attention has been paid to every action of China in the international community. China's impact on global climate change, the investment and resource development of Chinese enterprises in Africa and Southeast Asia, and the impact on the local environment have become one of the topics of the international community. We hope that through our efforts, we can contribute a little to global climate change and the harmonious development of economy, environment and society. In 2007, we also made great progress in using market mechanism to solve environmental problems. The models established in the field of gei energy efficiency and rural community development entered the substantive commercialization stage in this year. In March, Lijiang Xueshan Organic Food Co., Ltd. incubated by gei Yunnan project was registered and established; in June, Dalian yishida Energy Development Co., Ltd. incubated by gei cement industry energy efficiency transformation project successfully received the first investment (Note: detailed introduction of these two commercial entities is provided in the column of characteristic output in this report). In addition, our agreement protection mechanism project is also actively exploring the innovative mode of achieving win-win protection and development in the reserve. It is expected to complete the market-oriented operation in 2008. After the completion of the project, it will continue to promote the protection work in the reserve and improve the villagers' income. In 2004-2007, gei experienced the process of establishing models for more than three years. In the next stage, we will focus on the promotion and replication of these models. At the same time, the accumulated knowledge and experience in this process also makes gei one of the preferred local partners for international non-profit organizations to carry out Chinese projects. Through cooperation with them, gei has absorbed many new concepts and mechanisms and further improved our international vision. Here, we sincerely thank them. Looking forward to 2008.
