China and its climate leadership under the change of the times时代变革下的中国及其气候领导力

At present, the internal affairs, diplomacy and international political order of many countries are undergoing tremendous changes. Solving the problem of global climate change is also imminent. After Donald Trump became President of the United States, he announced that the United States would withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, which had a negative impact on international cooperation in the field of climate and climate diplomacy. The international community expects China to take a leading role in global climate affairs to make up for the huge leadership gap it faces. This paper tries to put forward specific suggestions for China to show its leadership in global climate issues, and to provide a basis for China to assume this role. This paper starts with the constructive role played by China as a shaker in the international political system, which not only represents the strategic direction of China's diplomacy, but also presents new opportunities and challenges for European countries and China to jointly develop climate leadership.
